(September 6, 1958 - March 19, 2016) DRYDEN, VA - Mark Alan Light, age 57, beloved husband, father and brother took his final flight at 3:45 p.m. on March 19, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends. Family will receive friends from 6 until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 22, 2016 at Mullins- Sturgill Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Evangelist Garry Hood and Rev. Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Southwest Virginia Cancer Center, 671 U.S. Highway Alternate 58, Norton, VA 24273 or to St. Jude's Children Research Center, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
