On August 12, 2016, Dr. Christopher V. Matthews unexpectedly went to be with His Lord. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Friday, August 19, 2016 at Calvary Church, 178 Pickens Bridge Rd, Boones Creek. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday in the church sanctuary with Pastor Glen Rogers and Pastor Brent Bradley officiating. Graveside services will be conducted following the funeral service at East Tennessee Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lynn, David, Jason, and Scott Matthews, Adam Martin, Bobbie Harrell, Jr., Dr. Marc Chetta and Terry “Foots” Quinn. Honorary pallbearers will be David Martin, John Foundos, Michael Hester, Ken Saclo, Jeff Brown, Matt Brown, John Bixler, and Tim Brubaker.
