GRAY - Roger Allen Hartman, age 65 of Gray, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 8, 2016 at Holston Valley Community Hospital in Kingsport. A Graveside Service for Roger will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Eastern Star Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery at 1 p.m. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside is asked to assemble at the cemetery by 12:45. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Eastern Star FWB “old cemetery” fund, c/o Betty Hale, 2020 Fordtown Rd., Jonesborough, TN 37659. Pallbearers will be Larry Ford, Steve Carson, Joe Tipton, Floyd Austin, Trevor Compton and Bob Brantley. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Maupin and Cody Compton.
