Venus ”Margaret” Calhoun went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2016 at Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Scott-County Funeral Home from 6 to 8PM. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Paul Blessing and Pastor Jody Jenkins officiating. Music will be provided by Gary Seaman and Jody Jenkins. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Holston View Cemetery those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 am to go in procession to the cemetery. Phil Head, Mike Edwards, Nathaniel Jackson, Chris Blevins, Ricky Horton, and Junior Wallen will serve as pallbearers.
