WISE, VA - J.D. Collier, 73, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina. Funeral services for J.D. Collier will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Jerry Collier officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the Collier Family Cemetery.
