GATE CITY, VA - Jimmie Ray “J.B.” Fugate, 73, Gate City, VA passed away, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Lester Morelock officiating. A eulogy will be given by M.A. Lunsford. Sissy Gardner will provide the music. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. His many friends from the Scott County Park will serve as honorary pallbearers.
