CHURCH HILL - Mindy LeAnn McMellan, 34, of Church Hill, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning (May 30, 2016). Calling hours will be held on Friday (June 3, 2016) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill or friends may also call anytime at the residence of the mother. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday (June 3, 2016) at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Gilliam, officiating. An entombment service will follow on Friday (June 3, 2016) at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Mark McMellan, Claude McMellan, Mike McMellan, Matthew McMellan, and Dwight Spears serving as pallbearers. Robert Hickman will serve as honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holston Counseling Center, 1570 Waverly Road, Kingsport, TN 37664.
