CHURCH HILL - Marvella F. Compton Cross, age 53, of Church Hill passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 17, 2016 with her family by her side. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Chris Christian officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11 am Thursday at the Church Hill Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 am Thursday morning to go in procession to the cemetery.
