Amanda Katherine Nichols of Hiltons, Virginia and Lucas Lee (Luke) Rowlett of Kingsport, Tennessee were married Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at Chalybeate Springs United Methodist Church, Gate City, Virginia. Rev. Stuart A. Coleman officiated the 2 o'clock p.m. ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Brian Keith Nichols of Hiltons, Virginia and Brenda B. Nichols of Rose Hill, Virginia. She is the granddaughter of the late Henry and Mildred Nichols of Hiltons, Virginia and the the late Burble and Lurlie Buttery of Rose Hill, Virginia. The bridegroom is the son of Rodney and Donna B. Rowlett II of Kingsport, Tennessee. He is grandson of Mrs. Lloyd (Ruby Faye Bellamy) Grimm and the late Donnie Lee Bellamy of Gate City, Virginia; and June Rowlett and the late Rodney B. Rowlett I of Kingsport, Tennessee. The bride was given in marriage by her parents and was escorted to the altar by her father. Melanie Chayash was maid of honor. Samantha Fluce Rowlett was the bridesmaid. Rodney B. (Bart) Rowlett III, brother of the groom served as best man. Clark Webb was the groomsman. Ushers were Jim Burke and Greg Burke, brothers of the bride; and Elliot Fluce and David Weinhold, friends of the groom. The bride graduated from Gate City High School and Mountain Empire Community College. She is employed at Citi Commerce Solutions, Gray, Tennessee. The bridegroom graduated from Dobyns- Bennett High School, Central Piedmont Community College and King University. He is employed at Cox Tractor Company, Kingsport, Tennessee. Following a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains, the couple resides in Kingsport, Tennessee.
