CHURCH HILL - Fred C. Calhoun of Church Hill, died Wednesday evening, April 13, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy illness. The family will receive friends 11a.m. to 1p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Grange Hall United Methodist Church, 5373 West Carter's Valley Rd. A Masonic Service will begin at 1 p.m. with the Clay Masonic Lodge #386 performing the rites. The funeral will follow the Masonic service with Rev. Nancy Martin officiating. Music will be provided by Freedom Quartet and Whitney Christian. Graveside services will be held immediately following the funeral on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport. Pallbearers will be Ethan Calhoun, Kurt Cornett, Blake Smith, David Smith, Robbie Housewright, Garry Garretson, Jeremy Bisco, Joel Bailey and Justin Stacy. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Bailey and Devin Hooven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grange Hall United Methodist.
