GATE CITY, VA - Lucille Elliott Carico, 89, Gate City, VA passed away, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at her residence. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her daughter, Janice Smith in the Midway community. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Aaron Edens officiating. Edens Trio and Chris Holder and Journey Home will be providing the music. The burial will follow at the Craft Cemetery, Alley Valley. Grandsons and Great Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
