JONESBOROUGH - John D. Ford, 84, Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 8, 2016 at his home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Victor Wallace and Dr. Joe Blankenship officiating. The graveside service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesborough. Pallbearers will be Lester Roberts, Tim Hicks, Dwayne Littleton, Jimmy Fitzgerald, Micah Salyer and Wayne Hunt. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Wilson, Bobby Garst and Rick Cloyd.
