KINGSPORT - Wendy Hope Carter, 39, Kingsport, TN, passed away, Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, TN. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2016, in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Gene Stallard, Rev. Gary Adkins and Brother Wayne Stallard officiating. Strings of Hope will provide the music. Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2016 in the Holston View Cemetery, VA. Chris Holder will provide the music. Blake Poole, J.T. Starnes, Matt Ison, Greg Sloan, Mike Thompson and Norman Sloan will serve as pallbearers. Friends and family are asked to meet at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2016, at the funeral home to go in procession to the graveside service.
