KINGSPORT - Allen A. Compton, 75, Kingsport, passed away at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016, after a courageous battle with dementia surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Rock Springs United Methodist Church. The service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Buddy Butler and Rev. Regina Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport is serving the family of Allen A. Compton.
