GATE CITY - Dorothy Margaret Elizabeth Trustum Peters, 95, of Gate City has gone to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 1:30 pm on Saturday March 26, 2016 at Scott County Funeral Home. A service will be held at 1:30 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Nancy Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Holston View Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Peters family.
