John Ray Buchanan and Ida Maria Di Pinto Buchanan are celebrating their 69th Wedding Anniversary on March 30, 2016. John and Ida met in 1946 in Capri, Italy while John was serving in the military during World War II. Helping them celebrate their anniversary are their four children. Tom and his wife Kim of Knoxville, TN., Mary Frances Akens and her husband Gary of Anderson, SC., Curtis and his wife Marilyn of Jonesboro, TN., Linda Bond and her husband Greg of Maryville, TN. They have six grandchildren. Ashley Guelfo and her husband Trey of Atlanta, GA., Tanner Bond and his wife Andra of Austin, TX., Summer Buchanan of Jonesboro, TN., Maria Buchanan and her husband Russell Thompson of Asheville, NC., Tarah Wilson and her husband Justin of Knoxville, TN. and Tyler Massey of Knoxville, TN. They also have five great grand-children Paxton Cruz Wilson and Francesca Ann Wilson of Knoxville, TN., Ella Victoria Guelfo and Steven Blake Guelfo of Atlanta, GA., and Beau Alexander Bond of Austin, GA.
