KINGSPORT - Edward Eugene Brooks (Gene), 87, of Kingsport, died Saturday, March 19 at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Joe Green and Rev. Jack Weikel. Graveside services will follow at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens. Special music by Louise Hammonds. Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport is serving the family of Edward Eugene Brooks (Gene).
