BRISTOL, VA - Jerry M. “Tippy” Cross, age 76, of Bristol, Va., passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016, at his home. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2016, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel, Abingdon, Va. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Jack Stevens officiating. Family and friends will gather Wednesday, October 26, at 10:45 a.m. in the Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, Bristol, Va., for an 11 a.m. committal and entombment service. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Ireson and Darrell Gilmer. Friends are welcome to visit the family any time at the home of Mr. Cross.
