SURGOINSVILLE - Ilene Rimer, age 90, of Surgoinsville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 20, 2016 peacefully at her home following an extended illness. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Long's Bend Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 pm with Pastor Mark Todd and Pastor Doug Messer of Hope Community Church in Allandale officiating. Interment will follow in Long's Bend Church Cemetery.
