GATE CITY, VA - Carroll Bishop, age 74, of Gate City, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 20, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a native of Scott County, VA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City, VA. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 pm with Pastor Cecil Kern, Pastor Joe Hill and Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating.
