KINGSPORT - Fred O. Booher, age 69 of Kingsport, TN went to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 13, 2016 at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M., Monday, October 17, 2016 in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Baker and Rev. Morris Baker officiating. The committal and interment will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Booker, Gene Litton, Scott Hampton, Gary Mangrum, J.C. Martin, Lee Wheatly and David Winegar. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., Monday prior the service.
