DUNGANNON, VA - Charles Howard (Buck) Corder, 73, Dungannon, VA entered into eternal rest on October 3, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. The family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Todd Cassell and Rev. Ernie Mitchell officiating. Cassell’s Chapel Singers and Danny Cowden will provide the music. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Corder Family Cemetery, Dungannon, VA. Clay Corder, Jacob Corder, Stephen Hall, Charles Hall, Jr., Jim Corder, and Terry Dockery will serve as pallbearers. Charles Hall, Herb Johnson, Coy Hall, Jody Baker, David Dockery, Mack Quillen, Coy Butler, Glenn Alan Hummer, and Marshall Hall will serve as honorary pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Friday to go in procession to the graveside service.
