KINGSPORT - Betty L. (Starin) Collins, 92, of Kingsport, passed away October 3, 2016 following a brief illness. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Mafair United Methodist Church from 5:00-6:45 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 7:00 pm with Rev. Amy Probst officiating. Music will be under the direction of Robert Reedy. A Military Graveside and Committal Service will be conducted at 10:45 am Friday, October 7, 2016 at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Johnson City, by The American Legion Hammond Post # 3/265. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Betty’s honor be made to, Mafair United Methodist Church, 1409 East Center Street, Kingsport, TN 37664. The care of Betty L. (Starin) Collins and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.
