Lauren Ann Walters of Sarasota, FL and Curtis James Tingle of Kingsport, TN were married on January 23, 2016. Rev. Will Plonk officiated the 5pm ceremony at Grace Church (downtown) Greenville, SC. The bride is the daughter of Ann & Dave Walters of Sarasota, FL. and the granddaughter of John & Eleanor Tynan and Buck & Peggy Walters, all of Sarasota, FL.The bridegroom is the son of John & Tammy Tingle of Kingsport, TN and the grandson of the late Harold & Christine Buchanan and the late Johnnie Ryan and Curtis Tingle. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Ann & Dave Walters and escorted to the altar by her father, Dave Walters. Erin Walters was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Joyner, Lacey Allston, Amy Buzhardt, Bailey Kilbourne, Margaret Krause, Emily Haile, Mallie Plonk, Carolyn Canington and Liz Hilliker. Scripture was read by sisters of the groom, Christa Powell and Candace Tingle. John Tingle served as best man. The groomsmen were Will Krause, Joe Hackett, Matt Duval, Joe Kane, Matt Ambrose, Lance Canington, Will Plonk, Ryan Powell and Jonathan Allston. The bride graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Telocommunications & Clemson University with a Masters in Counselor Education. She is employed at Wade Hampton High School and is a member of Grace Church, where she serves as a Forge leader. The bridegroom graduated from Appalachian State with a B.S. in Physics & Clemson University with a Masters in Automotive Engineering. He is employed at BMW and is a member of Grace Church, where he serves as a Forge leader. Following a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple resides in Greer, SC.
