HUNTERSVILLE, NC / KEOKEE - Chloe F. Short Ledington, age 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her residence on March 8, 2016. The family will receive friends at Gilliam Funeral Home, 618 Wood Ave W, Big Stone Gap, VA., on Friday, March 11, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the funeral celebrating her life at 7:00 pm. The Reverend Bill Bowen will be presiding. Graveside services and burial will be at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens, Big Stone Gap, VA on Saturday, March 12 at 10:00 am. Family and friends are asked to assemble at Gilliam Funeral Home at 9:20 am to travel in procession to the cemetery.
