The bride-elect is the daughter of Phil and Beverly Robinson, Kingsport, TN and the granddaughter of the late Harold and Ada Benton, Kingsport, TN and the late Fred and Versia Robinson, Kingsport, TN. She graduated from Gravely Apostolic Christian School, Northeast State Community College and East Tennessee State University. She is employed at Healing Hands Health Center and East Tennessee State University and is a member of Gate City United Pentecostal Church. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Terry and Vernia Russell, Kingsport, TN and the grandson of Elsie Mae Childress and the late John Childress, Kingsport, TN, the late Floyd Russell, Kingsport, TN, and the late Charles and Narmie Wilder, Clinchport, VA. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Sullivan North High School. He is employed at Eastman Chemical Company and is a member of Gate City United Pentecostal Church.
