Ernest Gilmer Austin, Sr., 59, went to be with his Savior on July 29, 2016. Gilmer was raised in Kingsport, TN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31, from 5 - 6 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN). Funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the chapel. Graveside service will be held at Depew's Chapel Cemetery on Monday, August 1, at 11 a.m. Those attending are asked to arrive at Trinity by 10:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Adam McPeek, Kyle Holston, Keith McCracken, Johnny Fugate, Jerry Whitley Jr, Ernest Austin Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Gilliam, Joel Lloyd, Bill Adams III, Mike Daughtery, and Nathan Gilliam.
