NORTON, VA - Cheryl S. Roop, age 67, recently passed away unexpectedly at her home in Surfside Beach, S.C. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, July 22, 2016 at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, July 23, 2016 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
