GATE CITY, VA - Dennis E. Lane, age 63 of Gate City, VA passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at VA Medical Center, Mt. Home TN. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at Midway United Methodist Church. Funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Bill Tignor and Rev. Don Large officiating. Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 10:45 AM in the VA Cemetery, Mt. Home TN. Military honors provided by American Legion Post #3/265 and Virginia National Guard. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:30 AM. Pallbearers are Dewayne Hall, Daniel Williams, Nathaniel Williams, Ray Carico, Johnny Kimbler and B.A. Clendenin.
