GRAY - Shelby Jean Denton, age 79, of Gray, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Monday, July 11, 2016 in Erwin, TN. The funeral service for Mrs. Denton will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Friday, July 15, 2016 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Clowers officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the East Parlor. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at East Tennessee Cemetery, Blountville, Tn. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
