NORTON, VA - Carl Absher, 70, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at his home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday, June 17, 2016, at the Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home in Norton. Funeral services will be at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial with military honors will be at 10 am Saturday at the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton. Family and friends will gather by 9:30 am Saturday at the funeral home, where they then will travel in procession to the cemetery.
