David L. Bowden and Kathryn Davis Bowden of Kingsport, Tennessee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 10, 2016. The couple was married June 10, 1966 at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Kingsport, TN by The Late Rev. Harold J. Davis (father of the bride), the late Rev. James Henry and the late Rev. Keith Azul. They are the parents of Michael D. Harris (son-in-law) and Melanie B. Harris (daughter) of Kingsport, Tennessee. They are the grandparents of Devin and Ethan Harris. Mr. Bowden retired from Sullivan County Schools and Washington County, VA Schools. Mrs. Bowden retired from Sullivan County Schools. Dave and Kathryn have been blessed with 50 joyous years with many more to come!
