Ronald Pierce Walters and Suella Julia Crain Walters, of Knoxville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in an open reception to be held in their honor from 3 to 5pm on June 5, 2016 at the Press Room behind Food City on Clinchfield St. in Kingsport, TN. The event is being hosted by Patrick, Jason, Andrea, Michael, and Jessica Walters. The couple was married June 3, 1966 at Kingsley United Methodist Church by the Rev. Roy Scroggins. They are the parents of Ronald Patrick Walters of Los Angeles, CA, Jason Sean Walters of Kingsport, TN, and Michael Landon Walters of Knoxville, TN. They have 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mr. Walters retired from the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaitherburg, MD. Mrs. Walters retired from Citi Mortgage, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD. The presence of family and friends is the only gift requested.
