BRISTOL - G.W. Morrell, age 84, of Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in Broadmore Assisted Living. A funeral service will be held 7:30 pm, Friday, May 27, 2016 in Virginia Avenue Baptist Church, 1401 Virginia Ave. Bristol, TN with Rev. Mike Tyson and Rev. Chad Blevins officiating. There will be special music by niece, Jenniffer Morrell Trent. The burial will be 11:00 am Saturday in Shipley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 7:15 pm prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Virginia Avenue Baptist Church.
