KINGSPORT - Maude Elizabeth "Betty" Powers, 69, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Friday (May 20, 2016) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center 13 days following the loss of her beloved father. Calling hours will be held on Monday (May 23, 2016) from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Northeast Church of Christ or friends may also call anytime at the residence. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday (May 23, 2016) at 2 p.m. at the church with Mr. Jay Cline. Mr. Val Roxby, and Mr. Tim Hall, officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral at Holston View Cemetery with church members serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northeast Church of Christ, 2217 Beechnut Drive, Kingsport, TN 37660.
