LEXINGTON, VA - Mabel Hoover Stokes, 94 of Lexington, VA died Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, 117 E. Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN. The service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. Martin Stokes officiating. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park. As a courtesy to her friends in the Lexington area, a memorial service will be held at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church, 2348 West Midland Trail on Sunday, May 29 at 3:00 p.m., with the Rev.
