WEBER CITY, VA - Carl W. "Cob" Smith, age 70, of Weber City went to be with the Lord Friday night with his family by his side. The family will receive friends at Colonial Funeral Home, Sunday, May 15, 2016, from 5 to 7 PM with services to follow at 7 PM, with Brother George Lane and Pastor and friend, Randall Spivey with Eulogy by Darrell Ryan. Music will be provided by his special friends Lawrence and Dorothy Winstead and Family Gospel and Susan Adkins on piano. Burial will be on Monday, May 16, 2016, at 11 AM in the Lawson Cemetery in Fort Blackmore. Pallbearers are Hunter Smith, Justin Smith, Amber Caberea, Roger Lawson, Ronnie Lawson and Brenda Slayers. Honorary Pallbearers are Ronnie Lane, Timmie Lane, Darrell Ryan, Daniel Dean and Shannon Quillen. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 AM to go in procession to the graveside service. Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, VA is honored to serve the family of Carl W.
