RYE COVE, VA - Roxie Bell Dockery Ashworth, 83, born March 13, 1933 passed away, Monday, May 9, 2016 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Sanders officiating. A eulogy will be given by Brother Russell Sanders. Larry and Teresa Lane, Bobbie and Russell Sanders, Kevin and Missy Sanders, and Otis Lawson will provide the music. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Keith Wallen, Mike Lane, Otis Dockery, Jr., Tony Dingus, Larry Lane, David Dockery, Richard Sanders, and Dustin McDavid will serve as pallbearers. Stanford Presley, Michael, Larry, and Tony Tipton, Rickey and Stephen Stewart, Seth Fugate, Rickey Dockery, and Dwain Dingus will serve as honorary pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Friday to go in procession to the graveside service.
