KINGSPORT - Wanda Fay Sawyer Cox, 76, of Kingsport, went home to be with her Lord on Friday morning, May 7, 2016, unexpectedly at her home, after a slow decline in her health. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Dewey Shaffer and Rev. Joe Trent officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at East Tennessee Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Al Bouldin, Gary Sawyer, Jr., Landon Sawyer, Matthew Pate, and Jason Swiney. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Sawyer and Glenn Land.
