KINGSPORT - Bill MacKenzie, the son of the late William and Martha MacKenzie, was born on October 30, 1918, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After 71 years of marriage, Bill's wife, Mildred, passed away in 2013; however, they were reunited in Heaven on Saturday, October 3, 2015. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Kingsport, with his memorial service immediately following at 1:00 pm with Rev. Mitch Whisnant officiating. Since music was a big part of Bill's and Mildred's life, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Music Department of First Baptist Church of Kingsport, 200 West Church Circle, Kingsport, TN 37660.
