KINGSPORT – Theodossios “Ted” Halkiades, 83, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 22, 2016, after a brief illness. His loving family was by his side. The American Legion Post 3/265 will provide Military Graveside Rites at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Good Shepherd. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016, at Colonial Heights Christian Church, 105 Meadow Lane, Kingsport, TN 37663. Ministers Phil Roberts and Bruce Montgomery will preside over both services. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Pallbearers will be Tony Gaines, Vince Halkiades, Sam Light, Earl Monroe, Ray Monroe, John Parker and Coble Ramsey. Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services is honored to serve the family of Theodossios “Ted” Halkiades.
