KINGSPORT - Helen Lawson Ketron, 87, entered the gates of Heaven during the early morning hours of Monday (April 18, 2016) at her residence with her family by her side after an extended illness. The family will receive friends on Thursday (April 21, 2016) from 5 to 7 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Malcolm Shelton and Pastor Larry Bales officiating. Committal services will be held Friday (April 22, 2016) at 1:00 p.m. in the Garden of Apostles at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to: St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105).
